Our Physical Therapy Services

Active & Passive Exercise

Unlike passive exercises, active exercises require muscle exertion and body movement and help strengthen the neural signals that communicate with your body.

Strength Training

Strength training is proven to address the attendant risks that impact people at age 40+ – loss of balance and grip strength, loss of bone mineral density, heart disease, respiratory disease, stoke, diabetes, etc.

Dry Needling

Dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, and normalizes dysfunctions of the motor end plates, the sites at which nerve impulses are transmitted to muscles. This can help speed up the patient’s return to active rehabilitation.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine used for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Active Release Techniques®

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a patented, state-of-the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.

Benefits of Physical Therapy

Reduce Rehabilitation Time

Most rehabilitation programs spend too much time treating pain and too little time restoring function. A rehabilitation program with an emphasis on correcting body function will improve healing time and reduce rehabilitation time.

Maximize Physical Function

Decreased function equals increased pain. We will teach you how to restore more proper movements and in doing so, improve your quality of life.

Maintain a Pain-Free Lifestyle

Physical Therapy and rehabilitation offers an opportunity to re-build the “new you”. Why settle for just reducing pain, when we can re-learn how to move more properly and more efficiently. The result will not only be reduced pain, it will be an improved lifestyle.
