A Farewell to Physical Therapist, Dr. Gina Hahn

When you’re in business as long as Capitol Rehab of Arlington, staff comes and goes, but we’re particularly sad to see physical therapist Dr. Gina Hahn leaving the practice for greener pastures – literally. Dr. Hahn and her family are moving to the country.

We have many active adult patients at Capitol Rehab and Dr. Hahn was instrumental in helping develop programming for the 40+ crowd using a kettle bell training class specifically designed for patients who want to stay active as they age. Like all our physical therapists, Gina always went the extra mile to teach proper warm up, movement patterns, and lifting techniques to build strength, mitigate injury, and correct poor or improper techniques.

Gina started at Capitol Rehab in 2016 after getting her doctorate of physical therapy from George Washington University. A Maryland native, she and her husband met during summer break from college and now have a one-year-old son, Anthony.

We invite you to leave Gina a few kind words below. The Capital Rehab team will truly miss her.

Gina, I’m definitely going to miss you. You helped me when I was losing hope. And even though I haven’t been in to see you in a while (a good thing – I haven’t needed to!), I think about you often and how much you helped me get back to daily life relatively pain free. I’m so happy for you and your family – enjoy country living!

    Hi Gina,

Suzanne here, back in town for now. So happy for you and your family! Congratulations on your young son- what a joy! Very grateful for your care as I worked with you- kind, generous, and present! And of course professional, you know your work. But you can never take for granted the presence of a warm humanity! You will be awesome in whatever your next steps are. Ankle, shoulder, and all are well thanks to you. 🙂

Good luck to you Gina! So happy for you that you and little Anthony will be closer to family. But I will miss seeing your friendly face. I feel like you were just the right person to help me at just the right time during me long journey of recovery. I use some of the strategies you taught me everyday.

    Ciao,

    Isabelle

    Hey Dr. Hahn,

While I’m so excited that you are starting a new chapter, please know that you will definitely be missed!

I will forever be grateful to you and your guidance while I was under your care at Capitol Rehab during my bodybuilding competition prep. I would not have gotten through without you (& Dr. Beck- Tag Team Action). Your impact has been lasting. I still do my warm up and core activation exercises and I feel stronger and more open in my body. Many thanks again and best of luck to you and your family!!

    Gina,

Thank you very much for for your excellent care for my knee that enabled me to get back to Zumba and regular exercise. I have kept up with the core exercises and stretches and they have made all the difference. I appreciated your meticulous care and your kindness and understanding. You will be greatly missed. I wish you and your family all the best and much happiness with Anthony.
